ahh! today was the BIzWORLD competition! yayayayay! let's do a recap! hahaha :D
Lol these were the 1st 3 ideas we came up with on wednesday. The mummy and the door sign yupyup.
We decided that they were too flimsy and not sellable so on thursday in school we made the...
plastercine mummy! eme also came up with the 'study buddy' idea which was to poke a satay stick through the mummy.
We went around the school asking teachers whether they would buy such a product and most or ALL of them said: NO! x( later b4 collecting sci paper we went to see Mrs Ho and she taught us how to make FLOWERS!!!!! We were saved!!
At home we practised making the flowers.. here's mine! >>>
ANd the day of the competition arrived. Which is TODAY.
We went to school as per normal and met at foyer at 7.20. Then me, ely, ben took Ms Ling's car while eme, yuru, jiahui took Mrs Teng's car. I found out 1 thing. Ms Ling loves Winnie the pooh! REally! Her car's full of winnie the pooh stuff! *_* ahahaha!
we reached singapore poly early so we went to the swimmimg pool 1st, den later we went to a sort of a.. err.. room? which led to another room? aiya i dunno how to explain. blah

our bags were checked b4 we could go into the other room with chairs and tables like a restaurant, where the competition was held. 
then there was some kind of presntation by Ben's idol- Dr Finian Tan and this was designing>? day and next we had to sell a number of shares out of 10 to venture capitalists in order to get money fo materials.
The 1st venture capitalist we approached offered 27 bb for 3 shares. The 2nd, Ben's idol, offered us 33! so...

then..
Marketing part! ben and yuru had to go onstage to advertise about our product. hahaha. yuru was so damm nervous! lol >>>
and the fun part...SELLING OUR STUFF! ^_^
in the end.. we made 631 bizbucks !!!!! ahhh but we only got 4th place! and won a PURPLE waterbottle -_-. wahhh x( if fierce woman hadn't cheated our money and if we had sold all our remaining flowers, we would have WON!!! aRRGGGH! No fair! i want 1st prizE!!! will get a BIGBIG trophy + a ZEN NEON!! ~ ahh ~
anyway: it's not about winning, it's about fun! (quoted from spongebob)
we went for bizworld competition without the word ' WINNING' in mind. lol. when we realised winning was possible, we were GREEDY for more. in the end we were dissappointed. moral: don't b greedy~
all in all it was a FUN and GREAT learning experiencing! so we shld b HAPPY! like ms ling said
